Event
The Cycling – Road Race competitions will consist of the following 4 events:
- Road Race: point-to-point race between 30 and 50 kilometers
- Criterium Race: circuit between 800 meters and 3 kilometers and entirely closed to traffic
- Individual Time Trial: on the triathlon circuit of 7 kilometers
- Team Time Trial: on the triathlon circuit of 7 kilometers.
The length of each race will vary according to participants’ skill level and gender.

The breakdown is based on previous Gay Games history in Europe:
- 70% Men, 30% Women
- 40% North America, 60% remaining countries
Key Success Factors
- For the road race circuit, the circuit will contained the famous hill called the Côte des Gardes that should be a real challenge for competitors
- For the criterium and the time trial events, the venue is closed to Paris 2018 village to make sure there will be a lot of spectators to encourage competitors and to fire up the atmosphere
Scheduling
5 days from Monday, August 6, 2018 to Friday August 10, 2018. One day of recovery (or participation to the mountain bike) will be scheduled on Wednesday August, 8 2018.
