Event

The men and women same sex dance competition will include the following events:
  • Women’s & men’s International Standard
  • Women’s & men’s International Latin
  • Women’s & men’s International 10-Dance
  • Showdance (individual couples)
  • Formation team (teams of couples or individuals)
  • Women’s & men’s wheelchair dance
  • Line Dance (teams or individuals)
Paris 2018 may include mixed couple events.

Expected breakdown
The breakdown is based on previous Gay Games history in Europe:
  • 80% Men, 20% Women
  • 70% North America, 30% remaining countries
Key Success Factors
  • Strong experience in organizing dance sport competitions
  • Great location within Paris with 1,900 spectators’ seating

Scheduling

6 days from Sunday August 5, 2018 to Friday, August 10, 2018. From 8 am to 10 pm.
Mornings: elimination rounds.
Afternoons: quarter-finals and semi-finals,
Evenings: finals.
Last day: Gala Ball in the evening at the Esplanade des droits de l’homme next to the Palais de Chaillot, 1 Place du Trocadéro, 75116 Paris.
