Event
The Flag Football competition will include:
- Preliminary rounds organized as a pool system
- Finals organized as knockout system
- Playing time: 60 mn (4 x 15 mn). There should be a minimum of 60 minutes and a maximum of 180 minutes of playing time per day per team
- Team size: 7 players in the men’s division and 8 players in the women’s division
- Rules: the men’s tournament will follow the rules of the Gay Bowl with modifications and the women’s tournament will follow the rules of the IWFFA with modifications

The breakdown is based on previous Gay Games history in Europe:
- 50% Men, 50% Women
- 70% North America, 30% remaining countries
