Event
The competition includes separate men’s and women’s tournaments.
Each tournament consists of two sessions:
• Preliminary rounds organized as a pool system : each team plays three matches in a pool of four and a ranking will be made based on the results
• Elimination rounds as a knockout system : the top two of each pool continue in the tournament and play the A-final. The last two teams of each pool will be playing in the B-final.

The breakdown is based on previous Gay Games history in Europe:
- 70% Men, 30% Women
- 10% North America, 90% remaining countries
Key Success Factors
- A major venue within Paris to run the tournament in one unique area
- Strong experience in organizing competitions
- Support from the FFH
