Visual arts plays its part for diversity during Paris 2018 Gay Games 10.

back

Diversity starts first and foremost with the artists themselves: Paris, city of culture, will reverberate with contemporary creation by presenting works by French artists (from Paris and the surrounding areas) as well as inviting artists from around the world. This will include emerging artists who convey the values of the Gay Games, a message based on non-discrimination, equality, personal best, and self-respect.

You will be able to view the work of these artists and the variety of their works in a large gallery located at the LGBT Center of Paris in the center of Paris, just two steps from the Pompidou Center.

Paintings, photographs, sculpture… This exposition will include at least one work from each artists selected for the project. It is free and open to everyone in order to attract the largest number of people possible (Gay Games participants, lovers of art, and tourists visiting Paris).

The exposition in Paris will represent a gathering of long-travelled artists who have witnessed our era and all the changes in our society. It will be as if a snapshot has captured all our diversity in a single moment. Not to be missed!
