    Atout France is a governmental agency that promotes the destination France throughout the world. The Agency supports nearly 1200 professional partners (regional and departmental tourism committees, tourism offices and more than 800 private companies), in their marketing and promotional activities in France and abroad.     The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau was created in 1971 at the joint initiative of the Paris City Council and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It carries out three specific missions:

    • Welcome and informing visitors in its five offices in town and through its website Parisinfo.com: for accommodation products and transport passes (« Paris Visite », etc.) here, as well as cultural and leisure products (excursions, cabarets, theme parks, « Paris Museum Pass », etc.), and of course the Paris Passlib’, the official city pass for the destination.
    • Promoting the destination in France and abroad
    • Organizing everything for business tourism and congresses

    In addition to promoting the Paris 2018 – Gay Games 10 event, the Paris Convention and Tourism Bureau is preparing, with the Paris 2018 team and the City of Paris, an offer dedicated to the LGBT public. It will distribute city plans to all participants and participate in welcoming them at strategic points. The Bureau has approximately 1,800 professional members and welcomes more than half a million visitors per year in its 5 offices and 9.5 million visits on its website.

    The Paris Region Tourist Committee promotes the region to tourists as a tourism destination. Its role especially includes:

    • promoting Paris Region touristic advantages to its French and foreign visitors;
    • making the tourism possibilities of Paris and its region clearer (in relation to events, culture, heritage, etc.);
    • helping ensure the welcome and information provided to tourists is of a quality.

    The Paris Region Tourist Committee is partner of Paris 2018. It promotes the event, welcomes participants at the airports and educates volunteers.
