The “Hippodrome d’Auteuil” was created in 1873 between the fortifications of Paris and the mound Mortemart.
Initially opened on the city, it has been closed then, closing so the access to the “Bois de Boulogne”.
In 2013, the City of Paris signed a convention with “France Galop” in order to create the “Parc des pelouses d’ Auteuil on a surface of 12 hectares.
Drawn in the respect for the charter of sustainable arrangement of the “Bois de Boulogne”, the park groups a landscaped garden, playgrounds and several sports equipment of which the ground of hockey which Is going to welcome the tournaments of field hockey of PARIS 2018.
