The women’s and men’s handball tournaments are organized in two venues in eastern Paris by Decalage and Aquahomo with the support of the French Handball Federation (FFH).

Nearly 100 players are registered for those tournaments which are open to all, regardless of ability! Registrations are closed.

Two tournaments will take place in parallel : male and female on the other hand, on two different venues. The mixed teams will play in the men’s tournament. All the teams will meet in the same venue – annex of the Halle Georges Carpentier – t o follow the finals in a good atmosphere.

The players of the top three teams in each division will receive a gold, silver or bronze medal.

A team consists of 9-14 people.

Founded in 1994, Décalage is a Handball club .

Décalage was founded in 1994, but its activities really took off in 1996 in preparation for the 1997 Paris EuroGames. Décalage both hosted and competed in the handball tournament at that event. Since then Décalage has enjoyed steady growth.

The main activity of Décalage is to organise handball practices, friendly matches with other sports and handball clubs. But Décalage also offers its members a whole range of other activities that help to forge the club’s friendly spirit.

Founded almost 20 years ago, Aquahomo is a masters multisports club.

With more than 325 adult members, AQUAHOMO is the 1 st LGBTHI multi-sport association in France.

All athletes are welcome, whatever their level, gender or sexual orientation, with a tolerance,

respect and integration spirit.

Since 20 years, we are attached to allow all of our members to grow and develop themselves with

sport practice in 7 disciplines (Swimming, Water Polo, Urban Dance, Fitness, Handball, Yoga,

Cheerleading).

The association offers 12 weekly time slots to all of our members.

We consider sport as promoting inclusion and enabling everyone to find their place.

AQUAHOMO is in the spotlight of Gay Games Paris 2018. We are the only association organizing 3

sports events: Urban Dance, Waterpolo and Men and Mixed Handball. We also participate in the

Pink Flamingo show.
