The half marathon and the marathon of Paris 2018 – Gay Games 10 will be organized by the Paris Front Runners with the support of The French Federation of Athletics (FFA) and two key partners KCO and AVENA.

The course is a loop of about 10 km which is performed twice for the half marathon and four times for the marathon.

The course is awesome! Start and finnish in Avenue Foch close to Triumph Arch. The trail crosses through the beautiful and shadowed Bois de Boulogne in the west of the capital! Run consists in 2 equal loops for half marathon and 4 equal loops for marathon.

Over 800 athletes are expected for these two races.

Program

All participants must have previously withdrawn their accreditations and bibs to be able to start the Half Marathon or Marathon. No bib will be removed on site.

The start will be given at 8:00 am on Avenue Foch, near the Arc de Triomphe.

  • 7:50 am: Setting up the race
  • 8:00 am: Start of the Marathon and Half Marathon
  • 9:05: Estimated arrival of the first runner of the Half Marathon
  • 10:10 am: Estimated arrival of the first runner of the Marathon
  • 16h00: End of the event

    Founded in 1992, Paris Front Runners is a Track and Field and a Running club .

    Les Front Runners de Paris est une association de course à pied fondée en 1992, et composée aujourd’hui de plus de 330 membres. Le club est ouvert à tou-te-s, sans discriminations : quelle que soit l’orientation sexuelle, le genre, l’âge, le statut sérologique, le niveau en sport.

    Chaque année, les Front Runners de Paris organisent deux événements clés de la visibilité sportive LGBT : la Course de la Saint Valentin, ainsi que les épreuves d’athlétisme et les courses hors stade du Tournoi International de Paris.
